Our Name

Syncline was named after the Syncline Loop trail in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. This is a challenging 8.1 mile hike, with steep switchbacks and 1500-foot elevation change. Midsummer temperatures average 100° F, with desert conditions. Those who prepare appropriately and complete the six-hour hike are rewarded with an experience they will always remember – an accomplishment that will prepare them for other challenges in life.
